The best place to go get breakfast in the morning. You cant park near by you have to take a shuttle. The shuttle is $1.50 per person each way, so make sure you have cash. The food is fantastic, you cant go wrong with any menu item. The bar in the back opens at 10am which makes for a great place to wait, because there will be a wait.

Love the hidden location, and the fact that Crystal Cove Beach is right outside.We had the salmon. Very good.The waiter brought our 3 year old a special cake and ice cream dessert for his birthday. 😊

This is located on the state beach in Crystal Cove so it's kind of a trek from the parking lot. There is a shuttle ($1.50) and they will validate parking. Popular place because of the location - so you can make a reservation - but I suggest going in the early or late hours. Easily over $100 for a family dinner, not including drinks or dessert, so just be prepared for that. The young male host was rather pretentious when I was there, otherwise the service was very good although they were getting ready to close so busy with those preps. Everything on the menu looked really good, especially if you like seafood, but my son & I just went in for dessert that night - so yummy! I really love the atmosphere - authentic vintage cottage, super cozy, open patio during warmer months & covered in the cooler months. Very Orange County if that means anything to you.

Arrived in the parking lot at 9:30. When we got to the beach, they said it was an hour and a half wait time. An hour and a half! We managed to get a table by 11:20, and by then they said we couldn’t order breakfast, we had to order lunch. I swear the website said they serve breakfast until 11:30. Nope, we couldn’t order breakfast, even when we ordered around 11:20. This place is a waste of time, go somewhere else.

Wow this place is great. We came for breakfast and it was fantastic and not all that over priced. Loved their coconut pancakes as well as the crab cake eggs Benedict. Will definitely be coming back

Service was ok, my drink was SUPER overly sweet, the waitress asked if I liked it and I let her know not Really, she immediately took it but still charged $15. For it. She also charged $3.00 for and extra piece of bread. I find this to be a bit of poor service.

The beignets are off the hook great, the view is obviously spectacular, the breakfast entree are big and delicious, and watch out of the Bloody Mary's, they're super legit. Always a fantastic place to bring the family for breakfast on the beach. Note - amateurs will show up at 10:00am on a holiday weekend and expect to get a table for 6. Professionals show up around 8am, get a cup of coffee, and get their names on the list early so when everyone else shows up, you can get seated straight away. This place is popular because it's so damned good, so plan accordingly.

We love eating out. Yesterday we visited this delicious restaurant which friends told us about. We passed a delightful experience there with first-rate cooking and a professional stuff and a talented chief cook. We added this place in our list and we shall surely return soon. We deeply recommend.

This place is an absolute gem! The food is SO delicious, the staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, and you absolutely CANNOT beat the beach front location. It is a bit off the beaten path, but absolutely worth it. You either have to take a 6-7 minute walk, or ride a tram from the parking lot across the street, but the scenery is so lovely, I thought the walk was a bonus. I am so glad we took the time to come out here.

They have the best views. The service was great! I had a Kobe beef Burger that was cooked to perfection! With a bowl of tomato bisque soup that was fantastic! There drinks are great! They have an amazing food and drink menu! You park across the street and ride the shuttle to the restaurant. What a great time! I can't wait to go back!

Beautiful views of Crystal Cove. Excellent food. Maximillion is a fantastic representative of this fine restaurant. A must if you're in the area.

Obviously a great view yet the food was average and overpriced, the manager is really rude and doesn’t know how to satisfy and treat his customers although the waitress was very professional and helpful. Anyway you are paying for the view that’s it, overrated and won’t go there again.

Very cool place with an amazing view of the ocean. Food and drinks were great. Service was excellent. The manager was very accommodating to our needs.

To get here you need to park across the street and take a (paid) shuttle bus or walk down to the beach. Once you finally get there, they inform you you have to wait long hours to get a table (in my case, 2 hours!!).Since we didn't have the time - nor the stomach - to wait so long for a meal, we kindly asked them to validate our parking ticket, which they denied to do, offering us to have some snacks at the bar instead, because they wouldn't validate the ticket without consumption.I agree with the system but I think it is outrageous that nobody tells you about the waiting time. Crystal Cove is definitely worth a visit but we had already been there before and we just needed to have lunch.Making you park and pay the shuttle bus without informing you the waiting times seems like a really bad service to me.Note: the bar has nothing to do with the amazing service and people working for the California State Parks.

Historical area with instant beach access. Delicious, reasonably priced food. The Beachcomber is highly recommended!

The views here cannot be beat. The sunset was absolutely stunning to watch. Dinner was good and our group enjoyed their time. The reason for the 4 vs 5 stars is the restrooms are located outside of the restaurant and for the price point of the dishes on the menu don’t align.

Nice place for an ocean front breakfast. Servers were fantastic and the food was great. Can't wait to go back and try a sunset dinner.

Awesome place to grab a bite on the beach. Our server was very friendly and funny. The fish tacos were delicious and had a lot more shrimp than normal tacos. The views of the ocean are great and was nice to wander around the beach after.

I love this place so much! But man, can you please find a way to accept reservations for parties over 6 people? I had a party of 8 to celebrate my aunt/uncle's anniversary, who are from out of the country, and I could not get seated. Tried online, over the phone, then just showing up. Nothing. Super disappointing.

This restaurant is the most famous and well-known restaurant in my area. Very pleasant atmosphere, old world but quiet, with a talented guitarist, good food, and attentive service. The staff is friendly and live music is entertaining and not too loud. It is my favorite whenever I visit this restaurant. I like the ambiance and the staff is really commendable with their great service.

This is discovery of the year. This place is amazing. We've been there for lunch and breakfast and we had wonderful experience. Excellent food and drinks.

Celebrated My Birthday at the Beachcomber CafeYou may park your car across Pacific Coast Hwy and walk through the park and walk through a tunnel to the beach. It's a beautiful walk. But don't worry they also have a shuttle if not up for the challenge.

Caribbean style beach restaurant. Food is simply amazing and portions are huge. Big Bad Bloody Mary will take care of your alcohol needs for the entire day or two.

Oh, and I forgot, the location doesn't get better. Right on the sand of the pacific. Was so clear last week we could see San Clemente island and Catalina looked like it was right in your face.Highly recommend this place. Enjoy! We do several times a year.

Sunset is beautiful and perfect. The service was great (thanks Wes) and the food was delicious and presented well. The artichoke appetizer is phenomenal. Get extra dipping sauce and use it with the parmesan fries. We had a great time. I don't recommend weekends, too crowded. Park across the street and take the shuttle. Stroll in the sand while waiting for your table.

Wonderful spot. Great atmosphere and hugely popular so very lively. If you park in the Los Trocano car park you can claim your otherwise $15 dollar parking fee back against your meal cost. There's a shuttle or sloping walk that takes you through a tunnel under Pacific Highway One. Excellent food and reasonably priced. Lovely beach for walking

Amazing view since you're literally on the beach. The food is good, but nothing extraordinary. Go early or expect to wait. Negative is that there is no parking. You have to park across the street where they charge you for a shuttle or about a 15 minutes walk.

It’s a step back in time, right on the water, great staff, view and food... my favorite spot to take my out of town visitors. I like to go Monday’s as I’m not a fan of a long wait. Take a beach 🏖 towel and catch some rays before or after, that’s the best part

I love to come to this place for the quality water as well as delicious desserts. The owner is so knowledgeable and friendly. My daughter and I love to just hang in the coolElevated vibes. Come check this place out. It's so awesome. Love the atmosphere.

Tasty dishes are in this wonderful and classy restaurant! A week ago, my friend and I ate our dinner here. We're so amazed by the place and the staves. The ambiance of the place was so cozy and elegant. The staves were so friendly and fast. We were so satisfied with the service. Huge thanks to you, guys!

Fantastic breakfast spot. Indoor and outdoor seating right on the beach. Be prepared to wait quite a while. $15 to park across the street and either walk about a half mile or take a shuttle to the beach. The restaurant validates parking which makes it free for 3 hours.

Had a great experience in here with my kids. The food comes out quick and the service is just awesome. Prices are fair.

Best spot in Orange County. Unbeatable location, extremely unique building and atmosphere. Our server Ryan was very knowledgeable and polite, and I had the best steak of my entire life. 11 times out of 10 recommend. Must go.

Top Location and quality. Had the corned beef hash with peppers and eggs on top. Unique and awesome! Big chunks of beef and gluten free English muffin. Perfect!
